Sky of the Phoenix is an MMORPG, that the members of
PresStart Productions have been planning to create for some time now. As of this
time, we have gathered the software necessary to begin the project although it
will take a great amount of time and frustration in order to put out our
MMO!
Overview - Sky of the Phoenix is
part six of a seven part series, created by PresStart. The series, Legends of
Algeron, all take place on a fantasy world, Algeron, and consist of many
spirits, guardians, and magic beings.
The world of Algeron consists of many kingdoms. Some of the main ones are, The
Dragonian Empire (Dragonia for short) which lies at the center of the southern
continent. Many heroes rise from this land. Makarta lies to the south of
Dragonia, also a land of good. On the northern continent lies The Land of
Shadow, where evil reins and darkness is spread.
War has hammered the land of
Algeron for hundreds of years, and the gods become angry with the people of the
world. To end the war, the Gods send a rain of fire on to the most powerful
nation in the world, Dragonia. The center of the kingdom is burned, and it
becomes a barren desert. All that remains standing is a lone tower at the heart
of the wasteland. This tower is known as the Phoenix Spire.
Seeking power, the Dark Lord, Lord
of the Land of Shadow, travels to the top of the spire and uses the power of the
spire to conjure a great comet that sores around the world, dropping evil
creatures in it's wake. On the comet is a being known as The Phoenix, A bird
made out of the fires of the comet awaits any challenger who dares to duel with
it's might. Only a hero can make it to the center of the desert and climb the
spire, in order to gain entrance on to the great comet!
